… got postponed again. Unlucky situation for me, but nothing I can do anything about.  It’s postponed to the 12th of may.

If you like hockey, you should get espn360. You can watch every game of the season on a livestream with good quality there. Since the quality of some other live streams that I used before dropped down significantly. I decided to give it a try and it’s really cool.

Poker is going good lately and I am on a heater for the last 5k hands. I think it was about time.

This saturday a friend of mine, his gf, my gf and Iv are going to watch the musical rudolf in the raimund theatre in vienna.

.. is one of the most important things that you can do to improve as a poker player.

Today I plugged a ton of them andI figured some spots out, where I am bleeding money.

I really like to play the double or nothing SNG’s on Stars. Usually I play them when I can’t concentrate on cash anymore and just want to have some fun. All these bubble constelations are currently brining a lot of fun into my life. I guess beeing a fish in any form of poker is more fun then beeing a grinder.  I am playing the 10$DoNs at stars. If I can archive a good ROI (>4%) after 500 of these I will move up to the next stake.  Right now my ROI is at -31% But I am still learning and I watched about 5 hours of Sit’n'go videos yesterday and I have already read a ton of material about it. If I  had all this material from the scratch where I started poker, I think I would have improved WAY faster than I did.

Finally I found a new tv-series to watch. The mentalist. I watched 5 episodes  and it is really good so far.

Tomorrow I have to go to the dentist

*epic fail again* just put myself into the reds for this month again. wtf.

I honestly hate tourneys…

I just wasted 300€ and seven hours of my life playing the 300k gtd on boss.  I finished 110th. about fourty places away from the money…. I was literally card dead for the last 2 hours and when I had a hand, another monkey manged to hit a set on me!  Seriously nothing is more tilting to me then busting out of a tourney against some random donkhead who isn’t able to count to ten but gets lucky about every hand he plays…

Don’t get me wrong, tourneys are fun to play. But the lifetilting factor is higher there than at any other form of poker(excluding razz ) I am already tilted again, when I take a closer look at the results tomorrow and see which donkey won the tourney…..

FFS I might even try to dabble into life tourneys at the end of this summer, must be even funnier to bubble a 2k buy in tourney and I certainly won’t  miss such an opportunity to torture myself!

Gratz to kingkong1 for finishing 2nd, at least the high stakes games will run again more frequently at boss now…..

It’s been a good month so far, but I haven’t played a lot.

I managed to reach my 10 buy in goal about at the start of the month, but due to some changes at the site I wasn’t able to blog .

I took last week off and it really helped me to regain my focus. I  should add that February was my worst month ever. I didn’t set any goals for march,  since I have my knee surgery on the 26th and I am going to enjoy life before I need to relearn how to walk

Unfortunately the hockey season is over for the 99ers, but I was lucky enough to make it to vienna and watch game seven of the series.  I think our team really improved over this season and if we can continue to get better, we might have a chance to reach the semi-finals next year.

In the last days I went to the cinema twice. I didn’t really like “Watchmen”, I think it was the most boring film based on a comic that I watched.  “Der Knochenmann” was pretty funny, but I wasn’t too happy with what they made out of one of my favorite books. The main character, who was born and raised in Graz, is played by Joses Hader who has an awful vienna dialect which makes me want to puke…  Don’t get me wrong, I liked the movie, but the book is one of my favorite books so I was disappointed how they converted it.

I am watching a lot of tv series now and I am now up2date with Burn Notice and Chuck, which I think are both ok and a good watch if you have to kill some time.  How I met your mother season 4 is also one of the funniest seasons of the show that I have seen so far. I am currently looking for anything new to watch. I watched the first episodes of “reaper” and ” the L word” and I didn’t feel like continueing with both.

University did also start again this week, but I am taking this term rather slow, since I am going to be in hospital for quite some time….

What its like to be a reg

I think this is now my 3rd month where i can think myself of an NL50 regular. When I look back at February I see a really nice skiing trip to south tyrol, rides to IKEA paying nothing cause c0g and aleKs paid everthing (thx m8s hrhr) and a quite good pokermonth for me.
At the first of Feb to the 6th i was kindof bootcamping with cheesy where i played about 12k hands at Nl20 crushing this limit. The next week I spent a week skiing with my girlfriend and her family wich was really one of the best skiing trips i ever made. Putroppo non abbiamo avuto bel tempo tutto la settimana e per noi non era possibile di sciare alla marmolada…(Don’t flame my italian!) but whatever, i really enjoyed it (espacially the desserts *sorbetto forever*). The last two weeks I only played tennis and poker. Playing about 28k hands on NL50 i forgot to go to university (whups) and missed 2 courses but nevermind i’m so smart i will manage to catch up.
So overall I made 30 buyins which isn’t very satisfying but OK.
My goals for this months are 40k hands, analysis 3 exam and to move up with our tennisteam (Eggersdorf 2) in this league
so far so good
